This is a paid partnership with Femme Luxe. I was gifted these comfy clothes for working from home for the purposes of styling this post. All thoughts, words and images — as ever — are entirely my own.
Working from home is the new normal for a lot of people, since Covid struck last year.
Home offices and garden offices, like my she-shed, have replaced the daily commute; and Zoom meetings have superseded face to face encounters.
I’ve worked from home for the last 10 years or so, so the new style of working isn’t too much of a change for me.
Although having a work colleague in the same room (in the form of Mr D) — plus trying to home-school and work simultaneously — is an entirely new experience.
One, definitely more welcome than the other!

From Officewear to Loungewear
There’s been so much chat — both online and offline — about what to wear when you work from home.
Is it acceptable to attend a Zoom meeting in your PJs?
Or can you dress up your top half, with some comfy joggers and a pair of slippers on the bottom half?
What do you wear when working from home? How should you dress for a home office?
Well — news-flash!
You can stay comfy, without wearing your PJs in affordable, stylish loungewear from Femme Luxe.
Style and Value
Femmeluxe have got some great value sets; work from home loungewear at a really affordable price.
One of my favourites is this belted loungewear set.
It’s supercomfy and if you add a pair of earrings — or a statement necklace — it makes you look like you’ve made a bit of an effort on Zoom!
Beating The Winter Chill
As well as ladies loungewear, Femme Luxe also sell knitwear; perfect for when the temperature drops and you’re sitting behind a desk for long periods of time.
I love this patterned, long sleeved crop jumper especially.
It works so well with the rust coloured outfit — and still looks smart enough when I have a Zoom meeting or FaceTime catchup with clients.
Work, Rest and Play
But — fear not — if brown isn’t your shade, the ribbed loungewear set is also available in a myriad of other colours; blue, green, coral, to name a few.
And, if you’re feeling a little bit more understated, it’s also available in black.
The leggings make it feel relaxed, while little details like the deep V neck —and the bell sleeves— make it look a little more glam than your average loungewear .
Perfect work from home fashion.
Work From Home Loungewear
If you’ve not got any face-to-face meetings, work from home loungewear doesn’t get much better than this navy tracksuit set.
It’s super comfy, with a stretch fit.
And at the end of the day, when work — and homeschooling has finished — you’re all set and ready to relax!
I won’t mind admitting that I was really sceptical about Femme Luxe when I was first introduced to the brand.
If you look on their website, with it’s Kim Kardashian-esque models, it definitely doesn’t look like the kind of clothing that an overweight, 40-something year old, mum of two would wear.
But, I’m pleasantly surprised.
Granted, I don’t look anything like the model, but the clothes are comfy and make the best casual clothes for working from home.
For ‘work from home wardrobe essentials’ to laid back loungewear, Femme Luxe has it all.
And remember, you don’t have to look like Kim K to carry it off.
