With Mother’s day fast approaching, I thought I’d stick a little list in here — just in-case (dear husband are you reading ;) ? ) someone might like some Mother’s Day gift ideas!
This little round up contains the usual — flowers and chocolates — but also a couple of curve balls because, well let’s face it, us girls like to be surprised don’t we?

What Can I Surprise My Mum With?
Haute Florist are one of my favourites for easy, beautiful bouquets and gifts. Unlike the new breed of letterbox flowers, their bouquets are already hand tied and arrive boxed, to your door.
They’ve got a gorgeous range — including Mother’s Day bundles.
Unusual Gifts For Mum
Mother’s day gifts don’t have to stop at flowers and chocolates though!
Clothing, footwear and jewellery is always well received. The locket necklaces and matching earrings from Astley Clarke make wonderful presents at any time of year; but especially on Mothering Sunday.
Scented candles and skincare are also treaty gifts that us mums tend to not buy for ourselves.
Here’s a little round up of my favourites.
1. Air & Grace — CRU Black Star Trainers | 2. Astley Clarke — Deco White Sapphire Locket & Polaris Stud Earrings | 3. Tisserand — Bergamot and Sandalwood Hand-cream and soap | 4. Diptique — Fig Tree Candle | 5. Saint + Sophia — Leopard Jagger Jumper | 6. Mulberry — Pre-loved Taylor Bag
What will Be the Best Gift for Mother’s Day?
The age old adage ‘presence is always better than presents’ never rings truer than on Mother’s Day.
Since we lost Richard’s mum during the lockdown, seeing family whenever we can has never been more important.
This Mother’s day, we’ll be spending the day with my lovely mum and dad. And — although I will be spoiling mum with flowers and gifts — I know that spending time with her grandsons, daughter and son-in-law will be her most prized possession.
That and not having to cook the Sunday lunch!
