Free Printable Template Letter To Santa
With just a few weeks to go until Christmas, I thought I’d create a printable template letter to Santa, to help my twins with their Christmas lists. We’ve always had a tradition that they write their letter to Father Christmas, then we set fire to them and send them up the chimney!
*It’s a sure-fire way of ensuring the man in red gets their wishes! (If you’ll pardon the pun!)
Letters To Father Christmas
I don’t remember writing letters to Father Christmas when I was a child. But I do remember poring over the toy section of the Freemans catalogue, putting a little star next to the things I really wanted.
Ten years later, my sister would do the same with the Argos catalogue!
These days, the big book catalogues are a thing of the past. It’s such a shame, as it feels that that rite of passage has gone with them.
Children of today consume media in a totally different way to when I was a little girl. With 24/7 children’s channels, playing adverts every 15 minutes, and Kid’s YouTube showing unboxing videos of the latest toys, the landscape feels so different.
Writing a letter to Santa feels really nostalgic; and is a lovely, wholesome way for a little one to voice what they’d like for Christmas.
This template letter to Santa is a really easy starting point, and will make the task feel exciting and special.
Getting Ready For Christmas
Even though it’s only November, I’m definitely getting the feeling that people are starting to get ready for Christmas already!
My Instagram feed is full of Christmassy reels, hacks, and tutorials. And I’ve already been busying myself with designing some new Christmas stickers to use on gifts this year.
I can’t wait to start some Christmas baking!
I have the most simple recipe for perfect gingerbread. It works a treat every time and you can decorate them in any way you like.
From snow globe iced cookies to sweet little Christmas jumpers.
And who remembers the iced Nutcracker biscuits I made a few years ago? They were made using the same gingerbread recipe.
I remember they took such a long time to ice — and literally minutes to eat!
I used the Nutcracker theme again when creating the printable letter to Santa template.
He’s such a festive icon — I always love seeing Christmas items that feature this little character.
How To Use This Free Printable Fill in Blank Letter to Santa Template
I have created two PDF files — one is A4 size. You can print it directly, or reduce and duplicate the file.
Then I’ve created a second file with two copies of the letter, side by side.
I’ve left a gap around the edge, as printers never print to the edges of the paper anyway. Simply trim the white paper away from the edge, fold in half and cut down the middle. This will give two template letters to Santa, that are just under A5 size — the perfect size for little hands to write their wish-lists.
