When Caro Davies began writing The Listed Home, in 2012, she had no intention of starting a lifestyle blog. It was simply to chart her twin pregnancy and her experiences once the babies finally arrived.
The focus was simply to use this online space as a diary, a place to record little family milestones. This blog was the perfect place to store all of those memories.
But in January 2015, Caro decided (as the blog was now, very much, a permanent fixture in her family’s lives) that she wanted to add other things she loved too.
UK Lifestyle Blog Culture
When Caro first began writing, she had no idea of the UK lifestyle blog culture that she was entering.
It was a rapidly growing sector but with the advance of platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, UK blogging has seen a rapid rise — and fall — over the last decade.
There has been a lot of talk that would suggest that ‘the blog’ is dead; brands would instead showcase their businesses on social media.
But at The Listed Home, we truly believe that a link on a well-managed website, that will be picked up by search engines again and again — picking up momentum over the years — is much more valuable than a social media post that will have a life span of 24 hours.
Blogging has really evolved over the years. We take SEO really seriously and work really hard to ensure that The Listed Home features prominently in the search engines.
A Very British Lifestyle Blog
The Listed Home is a British lifestyle blog — in the truest sense. It covers every element of lifestyle; Homes and interiors — which Caro has always been passionate about — plus a sprinkling of fashion, lifestyle, food, crafts, festivals, travel and days out.
Over the last decade, we have had the pleasure of working with brands such as:

…to name a few!
We work very, very hard on each and every post published on this site. We pride ourselves on creating the best content; using engaging copy, lovely images and sometimes even video.
What began life as a lifestyle blog —and a representation of Caro and her family— has evolved over time. But we still hold the same values and we never, ever represent brands that don’t fit with our lifestyle or interests.
We turn down many approaches, but, as a result, the brands The Listed Home collaborates with know that they’re in good company and can expect their products — or services — to be promoted in a creative and very professional way.
Ambassador Roles
The Listed Home is incredibly proud to have held ambassador roles for:
Mark Warner Holidays
Camp Bestival
Great Little Trading Co
OLPRO
We have an ongoing relationship with all of these brands; and are delighted to work with them, showcasing their products and services.
Awards and Nominations
The Listed Home has been nominated for various awards and accolades over the years. And we’ve been lucky enough to win one too.
It’s something that makes us very proud, as it’s a gentle nod — from our readers and experts in the blogging world — to all the hard work that we put in behind the scenes.
