So just as we thought there couldn’t possibly be any more family friendly festivals, the team that brought us Bestival and Camp Bestival, have added a new baby to their stable; Camp Bestival Shropshire.
Brand new for 2022!
And to say we’re excited is an understatement!!!
We’ve been taking the boys to Camp Bestival since they were two years old; the first time was back in 2015.

Where is Camp Bestival Shropshire?
Camp Bestival Shropshire is to be held at Weston Park on 18th -21st August 2022.
Now, I grew up around 20 minutes away from Weston Park and — as a proud Staffordian — have never heard it called Weston Hall ‘Shropshire’; until now.
The hall itself is situated in Weston-under-Lizard, in Staffordshire, but as it’s on the border, it might well be that the festival site is in Shropshire.
How Do You Get to Camp Bestival Shropshire?
Arriving By Car
Weston Park is on the A5 at Weston-under-Lizard; just 30 minutes from Central Birmingham 3 miles off M54, Junction 3 and 8 miles off M6 Junction 12.
You can also reach Weston Park via the M6 Toll.
Arriving by train

Camp Bestival Shropshire 2022 Line-Up
CB Shropshire is sporting a slightly different line up, to big brother Camp Bestival Dorset, which took place last weekend.
Music Line Up
Festival veteran Fatboy Slim, plus Rag’N’Bone Man, Becky Hill, Example, The Proclaimers and so many more live acts are set to play on the main stage. Pus — lots and lots of DJ sets — and other musical delights — going on around the rest of the site too.
Everything from Gok Wan — who’ll (hopefully) be playing uplifting house, to global dance music pioneer Sasha.
Because — even though Camp Bestival is a ‘family friendly’ festival — its very conception came about because its founders, Rob and Josie De Bank, felt that clubbers and festival goers, who’ve gone on to have kids, should still have a fun, safe and happy environment to take their families to.
Theatres & Shows
My old friend Jaime will be there doing her Cosmic Kids Yoga, live on stage. Plus there will be Horrible Histories, extreme bike battles, circus performances; as well as the boys’ old favourite Mr Tumble.
What Age is Camp Bestival for?
Camp Bestival is for all ages. From babes in arms, to grandmas and grandads; there’s something for everyone.
There’s a bushcraft workshop, talks, a literary institute — and live readings.
Comedy, music, hot tubs, ice baths and all kinds of wellness workshops; yoga, massage, wild-running, a bootcamp and even paddle-boarding.
Foodies will enjoy the new Khana Wala Bazaar; which promises a place to relax, whilst serving up a mix of Indian and Pakistani street food.
Or you can just sit.
Do a spot of people watching — take a stroll. Breathe it in.
