Home Etc was a monthly blog-link that I founded, with my friend Jess , back in May 2015.
It ran every Wednesday and was the perfect place for bloggers to share any posts that included interiors, garden or allotment, DIY, crafting and upcycling ideas — basically, if it was home or garden related, we welcomed folk to join in and link up with us.
Over the 4 years that followed, Home Etc created such a lovely community of interior and garden-mad bloggers.
It crossed over to Instagram too, where the #HomeEtc hashtag still has a growing following and people still regularly tag pictures of their homes or gardens.
In July 2017, Jess stepped down from hosting and passed the baton to one of our favourite home and lifestyle bloggers — Lins from Boo and Maddie.
In Spring 2019, Lins and I hosted the last Home Etc.
Times have changed and blog link-ups certainly aren’t as popular as they used to be. Home Etc was a fantastic hub for interiors bloggers for almost 4 years, but it’s definitely time to drawn a line under it.
